when I was working 12 hour nights at my old warehouse job, the drive home took 30-45 minutes and there were a few times I experienced "Micro sleep" which is one of the most frightening things when you're DRIVING A CAR AT 55 MPH.
So I started taking naps after work in my car in my workplace's parking lot.
Alternatives I've done: continuously lightly slap myself in the face to keep my focus and having an energy drink didn't work as well (especially caffeinated stuff since I'm going to bed as soon as I get home and I won't be able to if I drank any of that).
