I learned about the #FarmBill today, and the pieces snapped into place why my district's #DINO is so vociferously championing what she's been pitching as a bit of "progressive" policy for impoverished rural #WA3 children.
It turns out MGP's biggest donor outside of #AIPAC is the #sugarlobby. She's been working on legislation to ensure more SNAP is earmarked for processed sugary foods, which is both bad for public health and props up #bigag corn interests (who in turn produce HFCS).
