It's a bit disappointing to see that the majority of poast/TRS payfags are in the "it was good because he was a white traitor" boat. I guess I should expect terminally online rightoids to be this unhinged and unlikable, but sometimes I forget. There are several reasons as to why we should not cheer on this murder, or even be neutral, but the most immediate reason should be our implicit moral reaction to this killing as an attack on all of us, its sickening anti-social nature, and the likely character of the attacker. Most of all, it is cowardice and hypocrisy to condone violence you yourself are incapable of or, most importantly, unwilling to carry out. I'd like to think of myself as someone who would try to save Kirk, not murder him, even if he a political opponent. There is simply no world where I would have been there, with foresight of what would happen, and I would not have done something.
