In the #gym showers, I suddenly wondered: do parents still cut out their children's verrucas with a Stanley knife, or would that now constitute child torture? It was like a rite of passage for us 70s 7 year olds. Or was this just a Liverpool thing? Bloody hurt, I can tell you that.
