Revisit the Bible. There are plenty of people who haven't read it who claim to know what is there. There are others who've read it and don't want you to read it. Finally there is the Word which is Jesus Christ.
The Bible is full of many wonders. It's also a matter of fact testimony, genealogy and common sense explanation.
The test is simple. Go off by yourself and ask God to show you the truth. Ask Jesus Christ to show you the way. Let the Holy Spirit embrace you.
It's the only sales call of "religion" that doesn't need any show for others to see! You will also see, if you read the Gospel that every "religion" does the opposite and they disguise the opposition as a one world faith. Literally Satan in Hebrew means opposition.
Dig deep into the etymology. The basic building blocks of language will show you the truth.
Jesus Christ will work through you if you let him.
He healed me of a verifiable terrible condition. One that intellectually I could explain away, all day, but I could not fight against. Jesus healed me and he gave me a new life.
