I am not the person who's using Beagle, so I can't replace it right away, but like I said, ASAP.
I've heard that Gajim is now available for macOS, so I will attempt to install that. It works great on Linux but I have no idea how well it works on macOS. I certainly hope it works well, though, because I'm running out of XMPP clients for my Mac-using friend to choose from!
