I have a new friend and she is very neurotypical, and it's funny how I'm making very specific adjustments to my interactions with her to not seem too....everything.
It's like talking with someone who speaks another language - one you failed to learn despite decades of intense study. You retained the general rules but it's exhausting to recall them.
Neurodivergent friends, it's like we immediately recognize each other and we're instantly comfortable saying nothing or everything. It's wild!
