For some more context and encouragement for you all:

This business using #Square already had Bitcoin acceptance available in their payment processing software. When they got to the screen to select what form of payment the customer was going to use, they just asked "cash or card?" even though #Bitcoin showed as an available option, because they had no idea how the Bitcoin option worked, and they just assumed no one really would want to use that.

Additionally, their business did not show up on CashApp's map of Square merchants that accept Bitcoin, even though that payment method was automatically turned on for them, because being added to the map is still opt-in only. So don't assume a merchant that uses Square can't accept Bitcoin just because they aren't on the map.

If you notice the business is using Square, ask if you can pay in Bitcoin every time.

If they express that they aren't sure how that works, or that they don't want Bitcoin, let them know it is even easier and cheaper than accepting a debit card, and they will receive USD automatically.

If you are able to complete the transaction using Bitcoin, ask them if you can add their business to .
Just showed a local bookstore that uses #Square how to accept #Bitcoin. Paid with #Strike for one transaction and with my self-custody wallet for another. They were shocked at how easy it was and how nice it is to not have the high interchange fee.
