Watch your language. No, not curse words, but words referring to people. I've seen people the term "illegals" in quotes as if to say "that's their language, I would never use it." You just did, I just did. It's undocumented people.
Here in the US our immigration system is messy. There's lots of reasons to be here in an undocumented way, and that doesn't make a person illegal, just here without documentation. Many undocumented people come as tourists and overstay the length of the visa. They came legally but are now undocumented.
