Things that shifted after trauma recovery work in ways that I understand but still surprised me:
- how I breathe
- my sleeping position
- how I brush my teeth
- my taste in music
- how I walk
I'm still working through some things of course, but I find it extraordinary how much this stuff changed, just naturally shifted after a certain point. Imagine a person unclenching, like a fist opening into a hand.
