Agreed! I’ve gotten so much value from Stack Overflow but there’s no way I know of to give back small amounts directly to the poster, on a per question basis. There’s also so many people who I feel like would post solutions but don’t since there’s no real incentive for them to once they’ve solved their own problems.
At its most basic we could have people pay a small amount to post for spam reduction then have people pay back via a value4value tip button, stacker.news style. Giving ideally could be as simple as hitting a like button.
