I hate bullshit jargon.
Why is adding yeast to beer or mead called "pitching yeast". Why don't people just say "add yeast" like you do for literally every other ingredient and process in your life?
I don't know why this infuriates me so, but it does. Every time I watch a video about beer brewing and someone says "it's time to pitch the yeast!" I have an overwhelming desire to punch my screen.
