It's a meme that started on Twitter, actually. Bitcoiners started saying "Laser-rays till $100k!" in the 2020-2021 cycle. Price obviously didn't get there that cycle, but most kept their laser-eye avatars anyway.
After price actually DID get to $100k in December of last year, some folks got rid of their laser-eyes, but many didn't, and we have since adopted #LaserEyesTillFiatDies
