I'll chop the bunch when they're starting to ripen & bring them close to the house.

I'll try to separate the ripening hands from the rest of the bunch to try & delay ripening a little bit.

Eventually they'll all start ripening & I'll be swamped with bananas. What doesn't get eaten or given away will get dried (lengthways split into 2).

The scary thing is that I've got another bunch about a week behind & quite a few other banana varieties maturing. I've always grown for abundance but never really got there. My aim is to produce enough on the land to raise some pigs.
