You'll have to forgive my skepticism, from the outside it looks like the place has been pretty wrecked. Is this greatly exaggerated? I mean, we've all seen the vast homeless camps, the demographic data, the crime stats. While this stuff all applies to most of the country, it appears that California is ground zero of the American decline.
