I feel like it's a valid complaint because AI companies used public code for training their models without letting the authors know (because none of the copyright specifically mention about AI training. MIT is very lenient about it's use- so maybe that alone ).
It's a grey area to me.

The question is, given that these companies trained their models unethically, when they didn't obey the rules, do the ethical rules now apply to their code?
While I don't think it's a good thing to post Claude's code, I feel like it's sketchy ethics everywhere 🥲
