Yeah I think the danger for women is that they can feel the wall coming on and this accelerates things, as you say, but they can't tap the brakes in time. Usually it takes until the 29-30yo "epiphany" at which point they're already across the threshold. Many of these who settle down also have an echo hoe phase in their 30s. Basically it's the story of many Millennial women and how they ended up so busted by now. I can see why Zoomer girls are more cautious because they have seen this dynamic in wine aunts, divorcees, etc in their own families.
