I am a user who values the thing just working, so I don't know if I am the target audience for a rolling release.
I know of bleeding edge users who had to wrestle with their OS on a daily basis to get stuff to work
Those same users have chosen stable, reliable distros once their free time was severely cut short by work, for example.
I have, as a normie user so to speak, to find a fault with a stable OS that just works when I need it to
