The last time I touched an Android device - Google's Nexus 6, then a Xiaomi A1 well over a decade ago - I remember thinking how obvious it was, that the people who made this software don't think informed consent is a real thing that matters.

So far I don't see a reason to think anything about this has changed.
This is really nice hardware. Guess I've gotta go figure out how to cobble together an OS for it somehow.
