#Bitcoin hot take:
Acknowledging Bitcoin's fundamental shortcomings, both at the base layer and with secondary layer solutions, along with Blockstream's undue influence over Bitcoin Core development doesn't make you a "bCaShEr" or an inauthentic Bitcoiner; it makes you a BETTER Bitcoiner, one that can recognize that Bitcoin isn't perfect while still wanting to improve upon and better it.
Admittedly there CAN be some overlap with people who are, or simply are aware of the value within other coins/currencies (I'm in the latter camp, with both Bitcoin Cash and privacy coins like Monero), but don't seek confirmation bias that presents this as ALWAYS being the case.
It never is.
