WebRTC keeps reminding people that media works better when the network participates instead of one central pipe doing all the lifting. I wish more consumer streaming products followed that logic all the way into distribution. That's why bittorrented.com is interesting to me: torrent-first streaming is a better default than building one more brittle, permissioned CDN. #p2p #streaming
