Super exciting recently published paper on neurological evidence of referential understanding in dogs, a first in all the animal kingdom!

What this loosely means is that dogs seem to understand the *meaning* of words when they refer to various objects very similar to how humans do, and their neurological responses are stronger when they (reportedly) knew a given word "better", further strengthening the study's findings!
