I read a book of poetry this past week which was deeply moving. Looked up the poet on Wikipeda, he's still alive in his 90s. His website had an email address (from some local ISP) and I sent a short note just saying that this book he wrote twenty years ago was great and thanks for doing it. He sent me an email back saying how lovely and thank you. What nice human connection, and they are just there for the taking. Here's one of the poems, it's great.
