Ties into the free will debate too, IMO. Most of the time it doesn't feel like you're choosing the next word from a selection of options. They kinda just... come out.
One level higher, even if you are choosing from a list of options, where did the list come from? Who selected the options for you to become consciously aware of?
If you're convinced you have free will, who's to say the LLM doesn't? If you're convinced the LLM doesn't, who's to say you do?
