GM. Alone in front of fire 189 like usual. Well, the cat just crossed in front of me moving from one window sill to another.

Outside sunny. Still below freezing at 7AM. When I was out there at 5AM frost on the ground stars shining.

It's a day off today kind of. The red mail jeep has a flat tire. Picked up a screw on the mail route. Don't know if I'm going to plug it or take it in to get it patched.

That involves running it town 15 miles one way. Which involves time and money. The former scarce with only one day off this week.

Usually I'd take it to my neighbors. But he's in Florida with his family and the son that stayed behind away for drill weekend in the Marines.

There's other things waiting for me to do out there. Firewood, nursery work, septic issues, etc.

For right now though, I'm going to sit still in front of this fire. And wait awhile before the wheels start turning. Because I can. And it's Sunday. It feels like the appropriate thing to do.
