I think its about time I stop simply creeping on Nostr and start adding value.

In October 2022, my house caught fire and burnt to the ground. Fortunately I was able to get my family and pets out safely. I bought the house following the 2008 financial crisis. The house was sold as-is and the inspector failed report several deficiencies that I later found during renovations. Even though the deficiencies that I found were corrected, the house was very old with several additions so I'm sure I was unable to locate them all. The post-fire report indicated that the fire was likely due to an electrical issue originating from the utility room.
Since then I have been studying with #InterNATCHI in pursuit of a home inspectors license so that one day perhaps I can save someone from the misfortune that we faced. No one should lose their entire life in one night.
Starting today I will be sharing deficiencies that I find in my inspections with the Nostr community and explaining potential hazards associated with them. My hope is that just by sharing this information, maybe it can help you avoid catastrophe too.
