Both are laughably easy to disprove and come with a cringe-fest of influencers on each side hating on each other.
Not many people are just observing things for themselves and constructing models that fit those observations.
I started by going out at night and noticing how the moon's
reflection
literally never aligns with the sun. Not even close most of the time.Some deep diving later I now work with a Virtual Reality model of reality where everything is centered around the observer (much like in a game).
With the moon, sun and stars spinning around you individually.
With a flat plane where you are the center coordinate around which a Mercator-projection-like map is laid out.
A model where flight paths all work.
Where Luminaries are super accurately predicted.
Where 24h suns are possible.
Where there two poles on a flat plane.
Etc.....
