#WritersCoffeeClub Feb 18: Do you agree with Flannery O’Connor, who said, “I write because I don’t know what I think until I read what I say.”?
Broadly, no. I tend to think things through thoroughly in advance. Although this mostly comes from the fact that most of my writing in the past has been opinion pieces and essays.
That said, the act of writing always triggers new ideas, so I approach writing as an iterative process with a sort of feedback loop, which may be similar to the same idea.
