Sounds like I need to read John Richardson's biography of Picasso(ordered). I became a fan of Picasso's art after I saw one of his paintings as a young child. I wanted to meet him, but he died before I could. Man Ray was the other artist I wanted to meet who died too soon. Dali, whom I also wanted to meet, sought me out after seeing a few of my early paintings and photographs.
