That tells me most Canadians have yet to learn how to think outside the box, and our governments need to step up and provide better public transportation.
I used to think the same until I quit driving. I live in a rural area without family to take me shopping. Fortunately there are buses set up for seniors and disabled--it requires my planning ahead. It is limited to 5 days a week-no weekends but it is doable. There is no reason why something like this can't be set up for for most folk, including commuters..
