Really enjoyed this, especially the point about platforms becoming monopolies on both sides: they dominate users, but also squeeze suppliers by becoming unavoidable marketplaces.

I loved the insight that the goal isn’t “regulate platforms into behaving”, but to make it easier to leave them without losing the social capital and networks we’ve built up over years. Portability and exit options are what give users real leverage when platforms start getting worse.
