In the US I was served "burger and chips" which I assumed to be french fries with the burger. Nope, potato chips.
Then in a Swedish street kitchen I discovered a "hamburger" which was just the patty with a side of mashed potatoes. I was unsure at first that I got the right order but the locals told me I was supposed to ask for a hamburger with a bun. 🤷
