Me waiting for the verb in a German past tense sentence 😆
I am almost to German 2, having been studying with my teacher from high school twice a week for the past ten months. Today, she explained that in Latin, the verb is also placed at the end of the sentence, and maybe that is where this structure is derived. Any one know? But coming from English and French, it definitely stretches my brain.
