also for context: january 8th was the 6th anniversary of PS752 getting shot down by the iranian regime, which the federal government officially commemorated and recognized, and which the iranian canadian community is still mourning. there's plenty to criticize about the liberal government but using iranian suffering to try and score points against the liberals is not it
