Cold wallets important to actually have your bitcoin. It’s like having your cash in your wallet vs having it at the bank. If your bank goes under you won’t be able to get your money but if you have your own cash it doesn’t matter what bank goes under. Same thing with the cold wallet. You have your own bitcoin so it doesn’t matter if crypto.com or Robinhood or Coinbase goes bankrupt. You got your on Bitcoin and can go anywhere or use it with anyone
