Every time I can choose, it feels better to choose the loving option.
It doesn't always work out.
But it feels so much better than giving up.
And I've seen people who chose selfishness and hate reach the end of their life, and there was no joy there, and hadn't been for decades.
After they drove everyone away, they only had one person left to hate.
It's not the future I want for myself.
