this is a big reason I'm trying to turn my setup into a documentation project, because (as longtime readers can probably see) there are actual reasons I live on a couch and am lucky to not be living in the woods like I did briefly in 2024. and I know there are other people out there going thru similar shit who also make their best money from dev work, and don't want to use, or can't keep up with the pointless change in, Big Tech systems to do so.
