Today I had a little airport drama.
My luggage was way over the weight limit , around 50 kg in total 🤣
Honestly, why does hand luggage even exist if it sometimes allows 15 kg instead of 8 kg? 🙄
Somehow, I managed to avoid paying extra.
The woman at the counter told me it would be 15 € per kilo.
WTF: even melons aren’t that expensive.
So I got creative: I split my stuff into several bags and gave some of them to friendly strangers who were sitting around waiting anyway.
Everything else became “hand luggage,” which they didn’t check a second time.
In most countries, things feel easy.
In Germany, it feels like every peanut has to be counted 🙄
In Malaga I had 26 kg in one bag, and they did not even tell me, cause they did not care.
German culture is so strict. Without any sense
Lesson learned: creativity always pays off.
