And here I am. 40k in the bank. Good credit. No debt. No kids. No child support. No bankrupcies. In a city where I'm looking at a house thats 155k. And being told I'm not good enough to buy this house. Even though the monthly payment would be $200 less than my current rent.

So now the goal posts keep moving. I'm 42. Still no house. So I literally play animal crossing simply because it's a game of paying off a loan to own a house. That's as close as I get.
