That doesn't matter to True Believers. They think the supernatural world is real, and engaging with it is a mortal sin. These are people who think The Exorcist is the scariest movie, instead of the silliest.
My Episcopalian family didn't care about this, but some friends had to avoid D&D and play Top Secret & such.
