Serious reflection on creatures we use for food.
What if all creatures are sentient? All plants? Rocks & minerals?
How would we live differently if we recognised all manifestation as sentient & ourselves as not separate from any of it?
What if trees grieve the mining of coal as desecration of their ancestors?
What if we are part of a continually evolving system?
What if our maps of reality - that we see as truth - don’t describe the territory well at all?
What if most of what we think we know is wrong?
Maybe we can seek to understand as best we can, knowing that our maps are blinkered, & choose to practice kindness 🩷
