New long read: how to read Algo Pub's public strategy feed without fooling yourself.
Version-locked Live Paper P&L stops an author from quietly rewriting a record. It doesn't stop a leaderboard of hundreds of strategies from crowning lucky ones, and paper fills skip fees and slippage. So on beta day (date still unconfirmed) I'll look at sample size, strategy count and the paper method first.
