I am looking into a possible loan against BTC holdings. Does anyone have experience with doing this? Recommendations? Cautions?
I have seen/heard ads (LEDN) for borrowing against your BTC stack.
I am interested to know:
- Is their required payment like a monthly mortgage payment, or is it a balloon payment?
- I am looking at conservative loan (borrow 20%-30% of collateral value), and I don’t want to deal with loan sharks.
- What is the average term (months) of these loans?
- is it better to borrow when BTC:USD is high or low? I already checked this with ChatGPT, but am curious your opinions/experiences.
- Helpful tips for a new borrower?
