I looked for an agent/publisher for months, then decided I would probably die of old age before I found one. So I self-published, just ebooks, and I sell on Amazon because that's where the sales are.

I think I have been very lucky to have found an audience, and I attribute it to writing in a genre (medieval mystery) where there are not hundreds of other writers trying to do the same thing. Good luck!
