I'm currently reading everything by Edward Ashton, I really like his books. He seems to like creating futurist settings with genetic engineering. The first book of his I read was Mickey 7 set in the far future on a new colony on an icy planet. The main character is sent on the most dangerous jobs and is then regenerated if he dies. Now I'm reading the End of Ordinary. It's set in the near future and custom genetic engineering packages are common but are also causing a lot of problems in society. He's a really imaginative author. #Bookstodon #scifi
