Talked to a 2nd grade girl who didn't want to come into our Science Fair drop-in help session today because when she did her first fair this year a boy laughed at her.
I told her that mean boys will be mean whatever you do, so you may as well do the science because it's awesome.
I talked to her about her interests and how to find books on that topic and she said she'd think about coming on Friday but would do a project with her dad.
