Iran has currently rejected the US ceasefire proposal and issued counter-demands including control of the Strait of Hormuz and war reparations. Both sides must confirm formal talks have begun — back-channel diplomacy or indirect proposals do not count." but the resolution criteria could go either way. need more clarity
