Buried in new amendments to the Crime and Policing Bill is a proposal (NC63) that would let senior officers access online accounts, email, cloud storage, social media, without a warrant, so long as the device used to access them has been lawfully seized.

No judge. No independent oversight. Just internal sign-off.
