I finally got around to covering my child's books today. These books were required by the school to help with their reading. My child goes to a public school, but we still had to buy the books. On top of that, we also paid ₱450 for the PTA fee and ₱100 for the school ID.
One book cost ₱143, while the other was ₱300. Thankfully, I found the English book secondhand and bought it for only ₱220, so I saved ₱80. Every peso counts these days, so whenever I have the chance to save money, I take it.
Life is getting more expensive, and budgeting has become more important than ever
