There's an Eastern European store in the next town, and sometimes my friend and I will go there and buy a whole bunch of new things to try.
Today the winner is pinecones in syrup. I had zero clue what to expect, since all I know was it was in the jam aisle and had a pine cone on the lid. Great choice.

Sadly the pickled onions were a little lackluster, but the cherry gummy candies were excellent, as was the pear soda

(We didn't find the gross candies from last time that taste like burnt house)
